@usenarrator/plugin-better-auth An auth configuration is a list of decisions about security, and it is easy to miss one in a long object literal. The Better Auth plugin reads the configuration as a bulleted setup, with durations in human units and plugins by what they do.

What it covers

  • betterAuth({...}) and createAuthClient({...}), including database adapters, email and password settings, social providers, sessions, rate limits, trusted origins and advanced options.
  • Built-in and official plugins, named by what they add (two-factor authentication, organizations, admin tools, passkeys, magic links and more).
  • Route handler exports such as export const { GET, POST } = toNextJsHandler(auth).
  • Calls to the server and client APIs, read by the endpoint they hit.
